Peter Webber, brother of Susie Risho, - June 1947 - February 2022 I am so pleased, as Peter’s sister, to have had time with Peter these last few years of his life. Our parents, Harold & Leta Webber, were such excellent role-models of honorable human beings, which permeated through Peter until his last breath. He was born in Austin, Texas, grew up in Groton, Massachusetts and passed in Missoula, Montana.
Peter spent time in Cambridge, MA, where he worked as a set-design constructor for WGBH, Public Television. He also worked for Star Lab Portable Planetarium Design Company, where he helped fabricate massive black plastic, half-sphere balloons with a slide projector in the middle showing stars and constellations from all places on Planet Earth. Upon moving to Worthington, MA, he worked for the New England Solar-Electric Company.
Before coming to live with the Risho Family in Missoula, Montana, almost six years ago, Peter had had an accident in November, 2015, afflicting him with anterograde amnesia, a diagnosis which erased his short-term memory. Peter remembered his life, and his friends before his accident but could not recall anything after that. Peter’s brothers and sisters banded together to find a best-life for him. Thus, he spent the last seven years in Missoula, living with his sister, Susie Risho and her family, Ray Risho, Sam Risho (Elise), Ephie Risho (Michelle) and Abe Risho (Caitlin). He eventually moved to the Village Retirement Home, and then the Village Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Susie was so appreciative of the staff and the tender, experienced care and thoughtful attention given to him. Peter is survived by his brothers Ron Webber (Jeanne) and Steve Webber (Nancy) and sisters Karen Mulhauser (Fritz) and Susie Risho.
