Obituary for Paul T Dwight

Paul Thomas Dwight was born on June 16, 1943 in Fargo, North Dakota to Ward and Marie Dwight. He passed away on Thursday August 17, 2017.

Paul attended Great Falls High School where he was a 4-year letterman earning athletic letters in basketball, track, cross-country and golf. He then attended the University of Montana where he met and married the love of his life, Patty Huggins on August 9, 1964 and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business in 1969.

Paul worked his way up from teller to loan officer/auditor in the First Bank System and then became the Budget Director for Missoula County.

Paul first taught his daughters to swim and then shared a love of golf that they both still have today. He was the neighborhood game organizer from croquet to 500 to freeze tag.

Paul and Patty loved travelling to watch the horse races with their daughters, attend numerous high school and collegiate sporting events, and later in life enjoyed taking day trips to some of their favorite Western Montana cities.

Paul’s incredible sense of humor and ability to make others laugh will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years Patty, his daughters, Angela (Jeff) Comer, Pamela (Bill) West and their children, and their grandchildren and extended family and friends.

The family appreciates your kind thoughts and would and ask that any donations you wish to make go to Partners in Home Care Hospice program who’s guidance and assistance these past few months has been so greatly appreciated. (Specifically Dr. Carla Davis, Mia H., Amber M., Paige M. and Chris B., Dan, Vicky , Chris (harpist) and Annette), the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, or a charity of your choice.
