MISSOULA, MONTANA ~ Patti Sue McCabe, 63, of Missoula, passed away on her birthday at 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at her home with family by her side.
Born February 14, 1957 in Berwyn, Illinois to David and Marjorie (Wiseman) Davies, she married Chris McCabe in 1986 in Carmel, California. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Courtney (Jake Iverson) McCabe of Missoula; one grandson, Cayden Iverson of Missoula; siblings, Mary Davies of Seattle, Mark Davies of Seattle, Jane (Mic) Jennings of Santa Cruz, California and Paul Davies of Seattle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patti had attended De Anza College in Cupertino, California.
With over 40 years working as a dental office administrator, she last worked in the office at the University of Montana, Curry Center, where she had always enjoyed a good and FUN friendship with her co-workers.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Patti enjoyed travel, especially Hawaii and the Oregon coast and her time with her friends locally and in California. She was an active supporter of animals and preservation, especially overseas. Her main joy however these last four years was the time spent with her grandson, Cayden. He truly shared a special bond with his “Mimi”.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Missoula. Pastor Dan Dixson will officiate.
