PATRICK JOSEPH KEELER

Patrick (Pat) Joseph Keeler, 78, of Trout Creek, passed away on Friday June 21st, 2024 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula of natural causes.

Pat was born on May 6th, 1946, in Bellingham, WA to Lester and Marguerite Keeler. His family moved south to the town of Monroe, WA where he attended and graduated from Snohomish High School.

He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1965 for two years and served in the Republic of Vietnam January 1966 to March 1967. Upon his discharge from the Marines he would return home to Snohomish, WA.

Pat loved to hunt and fish, no matter the weather you could find him looking for deer or fishing in one of the local lakes or rivers. He also loved to raise a bountiful garden and keep his yard landscaping pristine. He was an active member of the Snohomish American Legion, the Swartzmiller Sauerkraut Band as well as a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Kalispell, MT.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Marguerite, his brothers James, Mike and Don, and his granddaughter Autumn.

Survivors include his son Ryan Keeler wife (Corinna) his grandchildren Cheyenne Keeler of Las Vegas, NV Sutton Keeler of Butte, MT and his cousin Greg Keeler of Bellingham, WA.

Patrick will be buried with military honors at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery in Missoula, MT at 10:30 on July 11th. A celebration of life will be held the following day on July 12th at 3pm at the Lakeside Bar and Restaurant in Trout Creek, MT.
