Patricia Ruth Kamera passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Pat was born in Missoula on February 17, 1934 and lived her entire life in Missoula devoted to her 3 girls, grandchildren, great grandchildren, parents and siblings. Pat took pride working in her flower gardens and teaching Ceramics at Kacies Workshop to her family and friends. Mom loved to travel and many a journey was made to visit her beloved daughters and grandchildren. During her visits to California she began a lifelong passion for Polly Klaus and made ceramics to be placed at her memorial. Even on our last trip to California we made a detour to visit the memorial. Her love of plants and collectables is well known. Every nook and cranny in the house has a plant or knick knack that held special meaning to mom. Mom is survived by her 3 girls: Barbara, Pam and Sandra, Grandchildren: Kacie, Kyle, Kelsey, Megan, Cody, Michaela and David, Great Grandchildren: Brandon, Riley and Ellie, Siblings: Margaret, Jerry, Larry, Donna, Mary Lou and Mike and several nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by husband Roy, Parents Miles and Ruth Woodworth, Sister Norma Geng, Grandson Roy and Great Grandson Carter. Mom had several nicknames, most memorable was Patty Cakes. We all have many special memories of mom and one that we still laugh at to this day is the time mom was hit and knocked out by a rock, that the 3 of us had used to build a fort. When she came to she was going to run away from us. Starting many years ago, mom loved to play bingo with her mother and sisters and that love soon flowed over to video Keno, which she proudly convinced the rest of us to play her at the Casino. Mom was successful in winning many a battle with her health with the help of her family and especially Dave tending her tirelessly, so much so that her doctors teased her about having 9 lives. Sadly, we ran out of lives, we will miss her terribly, but know that she will be watching over us forever. Mom, we love you a Bushel and a Peck and a Hug around the Neck! Viewing will be from 3 to 5 at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Thursday May 29th with Services and Burial on Friday, May 30th at 11:00.
