Obituary for Patricia May Dosch

Pat May Dosch, 75, of Missoula entered into eternal peace surrounded by her family at St.Patrick Hospital of natural causes on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Pat was born on May 18, 1938, in Hecla, S.D., to Otto and Eva Hubert. She was the eldest daughter of nine siblings.

Pat's fondest memories of growing up were with her mischievous brothers, who would convince her to skip school and hang out at the local fishing hole. She also enjoyed spending time on the farm with her pet raccoons and badgers.

Pat started working at a very young age to help support her family; this never gave her the opportunity to finish high school.

Pat met her future husband, Donald Dosch, on a blind date. The couple moved to Missoula and were married on June 2, 1956, at St.Francis Xavier Church.

Pat raised two daughters, Jeanie and Kristy, and being the strong woman that she was, she also worked various jobs, kept a meticulous house and a huge garden. She finally had the opportunity to attend night

school and received her GED with honors. This was an accomplishment she was very proud of.

Pat worked many years in the culinary field, including the Sheep Ranch Inn and Community Medical Center.

Pat was an excellent seamstress and a phenomenal cook, which she deeply enjoyed. She had a green thumb, especially when it came to her African violets and a love for animals, especially her feathered friends. In later years, after the passing of her husband, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and cooking for her family, and continued to maintain a beautiful yard and flower gardens.

Pat was a caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was greatly loved and will be forever missed.

"We will never be more than a thought apart

"for as long as there is a memory you'll live in our hearts"

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don; her parents; brother, Richard and sister Arlone Huber.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanie (Jerry) Bush and Kristy (Jay) Darrah; grandchildren, Ashley (Gavin) Hundelt, Cody Bush (fiance Naselle Reich), Wyatt Darrah and Jaylene Darrah; greatgrandson, Kelton Hundelt; and seven of her siblings, Kenneth Hubert of Aberdeen, S.D., Delbert (Pearl) Hubert of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Jerald (Barbara) Hubert, Bernard (Jacqueline) Hubert Sr., Nancy (Greg) Odde, Sandra (Bruce) Jones and Kathleen (Darrell) Humphries, all of Aberdeen.

Services will be held at Garden City Funeral Home, 1705 W. Broadway in Missoula, on Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. with a luncheon following
