Oscar was born in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Jerry and Nyla (Moore) Nuckolls. He spent his childhood days in Missoula.
Oscar was an avid catch-and-release fisherman and had passed his love for fishing to his sons. As a local mechanic, there was nothing he couldn't repair. Oscar enjoyed yard work with his wife and best friend; his yard was his passion.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Pritchard-Nuckolls; his father, Jerry (Ruth) Nuckolls; and his sisters, Sandra (Keith) Bigart, Teresa Marrone, Cleva (Willie) Moore and Patricia (Brian) Stiff. Oscar had five sons, Chris (Danae), Mike, Daryl (Crystal), Brandon (Kim) and Ryan Knutson (BriAnne); 11 grandchildren; his two favorite kids, his dogs Taz and Hannah; and numerous other relatives throughout the country.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nyla.
