Orpha Keil, 96, of Missoula passed away May 22, 2018, at Pleasant View Personal Care ALF of natural causes.
She was born June 8, 1921, in Carpenter, North Dakota to Lewis “Duffy” and Gertrude “Gerty” Wicks.
Orpha married Sid Keil of Loma, North Dakota on June 20, 1943, and they were married for 68 years until Sid’s death in 2011.
Orpha loved crafting of all sorts, particularly making quilts and afghans. She enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors. Orpha was faithful, loved God and fellowshipping at home.
She is survived by her sisters Pearl Kyes and Lila Mathis and her brother Perry Wicks as well as numerous nieces and nephews all who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday May 24, 2018, at Garden City Funeral Home, a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday May 25 at Sunset Memorial Park near Anaconda, Montana.
