Noah Mitchell

MISSOULA - Noah Feurhie Mitchell, infant son of Terry and Paje Mitchell, was born and died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at Community Medical Center.





I am a mother in sorrow. I don’t know what to write about my son, except the loss of him has shattered my world, and the loss of the right words has me baffled.





The picture in my head of his tiny hands and feet has me gather every pound of strength in my body to write something to leave behind for my Noah.





I’ve tried several times to write my child’s obituary. The excitement of having my first son out of five children was unexplainable and the fatter I got the more the excitement grew.





Boxes of clothes and a swing and bags of hospital things is all I have except the funeral and his father Terry J. Mitchell who wanted to say “may GOD bless his little soul” which sounded so perfect to me, Paje, Noah’s mama, that I had to include it.





The kiss that I gave to my son, who was still warm, made me feel more lost in a world, more torn, and I pray that he finds peace and a future even though he’s moved on without us. Know that the ones here will think of him always and be awaiting to see once again the beautiful child we’ve lost.





The graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 2, at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
