MISSOULA – Nicole Marie "Nikki" Pummill-Lynn, 29, of Missoula, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at home.
She was born and raised in Missoula and attended Russell Elementary, Meadow Hill Middle School and graduated from Sentinel High School in 2001.
After high school, she went to college in Bozeman (Missoula, Havre and Great Falls) to follow in her Grammy's footsteps in becoming a nurse. This was something she had dreamed about since she was a little girl.
In 2009, Nikki accomplished her dream and started her nursing career at Community Medical Center in Missoula, where she was loved by her patients and co-workers alike. People often said that her smile alone was healing.
In 2010, Nikki married her best friend and life partner, Cliff Lynn. In doing so she also gained her beloved son, Spencer Lynn.
This August, Nikki accomplished another one of her lifetime goals of becoming a mother to a beautiful baby girl, Bella Elizabeth Lynn.
Nikki was known to light up a room when she entered. She had a sparkle in her eye that made people instantly love her and when she laughed, it made you feel like nothing was wrong in the world. She also was known for her heart-to-hearts, which if you were lucky enough to have a heart-to-heart with Nikki, you would know how she could make you feel like you were the only person in the world and that everything was going to be OK. She truly had a personality that was larger than life. Nikki was an amazing and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
Waiting for Nikki on the other side are her daughter, Bella; grandmother, Helen; cousins, Clint and AdriAnn; and her father-in-law, Randy Lynn.
Nikki is survived by her husband, Cliff Lynn; and their son, Spencer Lynn; her parents, Charles and Donna Pummill; her grandfather, Glen Hay; her sister, Gena (Lonnie) Stevens; her brother, Adam Pummill; her mother-in-law, Maddie Connell; her brother-in-law, Nic (Nelly) Lynn; sisters-in-law, Jessie (Chris) Lynn, Denise (Mark) Warnken and Connie Lynn; her much-loved nephews, Parker, Peyton, Jaron, Alex, Brady, Noah and Bennett; and her nearest and dearest friend, Ashley Slocum. Nikki also is survived by her large extended family, her honorary Neptune family, countless friends and her dogs, Chewy and Barrett.
There will be a memorial in Nikki's honor on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m. It will be held at the Garden City Funeral Home. After the service, dessert and beverages will be served.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to an education fund for Spencer Lynn at First Interstate Bank, 3502 Brooks St., Missoula, MT, (406) 523-4466. Condolences can be left for the family at missoulafuneral
