Nancy Thomas

– Nancy L. Thomas, 53, of Stevensville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Community Medical Center after suffering a severe stroke.

She was born Feb. 4, 1961, to Robert and Lois Thomas in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

She moved to California as a young child where she attended school.

Nancy found her way to Montana over 25 years ago and it remained her treasured home until her passing. She lived in Arlee while working at Montana Naturals, before moving to Stevensville during her employment at Nutritional Laboratories International in Missoula.

Nancy was known for her kind heart and lifelong compassion for animals.

She is survived by her brother Bob (Marilyn) of California and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother John and sister Joyce.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Chapel at Missoula Alliance Church.

Contributions in Nancy's honor may be made to the Humane Society of Western Montana, an organization she passionately supported.
