Monty L. Mickens

Monty L. Mickens passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, in Missoula. He was born on Nov. 9, 1968. Monty loved fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. He spent many years working as a cook at the M&M in Butte.

He is survived by his mother Darlene Haaglund of Florence; his father Gordon Mickens (Roxie) of Hamilton; his daughter Jessica Ferris (Brandon) of Missoula; sister Jennie McNair (JR) of Florence; his half sister and brothers, Heather, Brad, and Brett; nephew James Hallam (Dani) of Missoula and several more nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister Jodie Lynn Mickens.

Services will be held on June 20 at 3 p.m. at the Kings Christian Church in Lolo, 9830 Valley Grove Drive. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers , donations will be accepted at the church to help with funeral expenses
