Monte Lee Williams, 70, of Missoula passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Patrick Hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.
Monte Lee Williams, son of Robert and Faye (Duvall) Williams, was born July 16, 1951 in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1969. Monte was united in marriage to Sharon Schooler on August 11, 1973 in Lubbock; two sons were born to this union. He worked as a broadcast engineer for most of his working career before retiring and moving to Missoula, Montana.
Monte was a member of his precious church, Limitless Ministries. He loved the outdoors and fishing in his younger years. He enjoyed visiting Glacier National Park and driving Going-to-the-Sun Road. Monte loved to play dominoes and was a talented player. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends. Monte was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Sharon Williams; eldest son, Robert Williams, and his family (Izis Esteves, Ailen, and Saga); youngest son John Williams, and his family (Sara Mich, Mason, Zoë, Prudence, and Liam); extended family; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Faye Williams. In lieu of support for his family or flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
