Monte M. Morrison

Monte M. Morrison, 77 of Missoula passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 24, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1938 to Walter "Ray" and Leah Morrison in Missoula. Monte grew up and lived in the Missoula area all of his life. He was a high school graduate and a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.

Monte married Barbara J. Wilson on Oct. 13, 1957 in Charlo, MT where Barbara grew up. Together they raised three daughters and later enjoyed the addition of three grandsons.

Monte worked as a truck driver, initially working a short time for Daily's Meats and then moved on to drive for Missoula Cartage for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, summers on Flathead Lake, snowmobiling, dune buggies, hunting and collecting model trains and cars.

He is preceded in death by his both of his parents, Walter and Leah and brothers' Ray and Bob.
Survivors include his loving wife Barbara; daughters, Lori (Rob) Jenne, Teresa Morrison, Debbi (Keith) Littmann and grandsons Chase Morrison, Spencer (Marla) Jenne and Logan Jenne, and great granddaughter Vanessa. He is also survived by his brothers, Clyde (Rosella) Morrison and Gary (Vickie) Morrison and several nephews and nieces.
Per Monte's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
