Michael Alan Newill

Michael Alan Newill, 24, of Missoula, passed away, July 30, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Darby, Mont. He was born in Missoula on July 7, 1991 to Mitchell and Wendy Newill. The Lord took Michael home, before we would have wanted him to go, but God does not promise us tomorrow. Our children are ultimately God's and he gives them to us to love for a season. God's word says "Blessed are the pure of Heart, for they shall see God." We can only imagine the joy Michael has being in God's presence.

Michael attended grade schools in Missoula and Louisiana and graduated from High School in Victor, Mont. Michael had a winning smile and a big heart. He was very artistic and loved his art work, music and playing his harmonica and he loved little dogs. He also enjoyed camping and mining for gems, swimming and fishing with his best friend, Derek.

Michael and Mitch were not only father and son but the best of friends. They did everything together from movies, shopping, hanging out and a good game of chess. He never went out the door without calling back "I Love You, Dad." He was also very close with his mother. Michael and Wendy would take long walks together and play their instruments together. Michael learned his love of animals from his mother.

He is survived by his father and mother; Mitchell Newill and Wendy Terry (Adam), brother, Jeffrie (Laura) from Phoenix, Ariz. where both are in the military, his brothers; TJ and Daniel, Michael had a special bond with his two younger brothers, they were very close and Michael was very protective of them. They adored Michael and now in their teens are grieving over their loss of their big brother. siblings, Marie and Seth Manges and their son, Mason, of Alaska, Brooke and Jeremy Terry, of Louisiana, his grandparents; Melvin and Maxine Newill, of Missoula, Merrill and Sandra Sellers, of Church Point, Louisiana, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 (Noon) until 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2015.
