Michael Patrick Mace

Michael Patrick Mace, 60, of Missoula passed peacefully Tuesday, July 1, 2014 and is now with the Lord. Michael was born December 16, 1953 and raised in Missoula.
Michael loved the outdoors and his passion was fishing and hunting. He never let the battle he fought keep a smile from his face. He was an inspiration to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him. He was courageous, brave and kind. Michael loved life, family, friends and God.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Mace, his mother, Patricia Mace, and his nephew, Jon.
He is survived by his twin brother, Marvin (Wanda) Mace, his sister, Kathy Schlenker, brother, Tim (Gail) Mace, nieces and nephews; Kassi, Catrina, Benjamin, Cody, Troy, and Ben, Aunts; Irene, Sherry, and Patsy, and Uncle Don, as well as his many cousins, and his best friend and caregiver, Curtis Strilcov, not to forget the many friends that Michael cherished in his life.
Our family would like to Thank Dr. Eddy, Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Knight, St. Patrick Hospital, Dialysis Unit, Frencius Dialysis, Partners in Home Health Care Hospice, Northwest Home Care, Medicab, Osco drug in Eastgate Center, and Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Per Michael's wishes no funeral service will be held but a celebration of his Life will be held in August.
