Melvin A. Beedle

My loving father, Melvin A. Beedle, 71, of Missoula, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, by going off the Clark Fork River embankment in theTaco John's parking lot in Missoula.

He was born on March 21, 1943, in Forsyth to Lloyd and Doris Beedle. He was raised on a countryside horse ranch with his family in Missoula. His sister, brother and he would ride horses to and from school. My father worked very hard in the mines of Montana, Utah and Idaho. He was also a truck driver and a heavy machinery mechanic in Missoula. He loved camping and fishing and visiting with his friends at the Forest Lounge and the T&C Lounge.

Preceded in death by his son, Kevin Beedle; Allen Beedle; Lance Wood; Lloyd Beedle; and Doris Fritz. Remaining is Melodie Burkhart (daughter), James Beedle (son), Carrie Johnson (stepdaughter), seven grandkids, three great-grandkids and seven nephews. Gale Beedle (brother) and his family and Gailyn Wood (sister) and her family. Along with my Mother Rose Torrance (Ailport) and all of the Ailports, that he loved very much. He was loved by his family and friends very much. And he will be forever missed.

I love you so much, Dad. I was really looking forward to you coming to live with me in Washington within a couple of months and I know you were very excited as well. We would have had so much time to visit and spend time together. I miss you already, Dad.
