Mary Lou Spooner, 59 years old passed away on May 13, 2016 at her home. She battled cancer for years.

She was born November 8, 1956 in Missoula, Montana to Orville and Lucille Spooner. She was Married to Edward Hettick for 34 years from 1974 - 2008. In their union they had 3 beautiful children, Patricia, Edward III and Jason.

Her hobbies were fishing, hunting, being outside with nature and her family.

She worked at Dicks Double Wrap for years and then went to Thriftway as a cake decorator.

She was preceded in death by her Father Orville Spooner, Mother Lucille Spooner, Brothers John Spooner and Russell Spooner. Survivors are Patricia Huff (Gary), and their 4 children, Connor, Ethan, Devon and Keira. Edward Hettick III (Christina) and their 5 children, Blake, Kyla, Eddie, David and Alexis. Jason Hettick (Rainey) and their 2 children Jake and Steven. Brothers Steven Spooner and Jim Spooner; sisters Barbara Moore and Brenda Spooner, stepchildren, Greg and Sheryl Rubia and many nephews and neices.

Viewing is Monday May 16, 2016 2-4pm at Garden City Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be Thursday May 19, 2016 at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery at 12 noon. Followed by a reception at Garden City Funeral Home after the service.
