Mary Kathryn Oliver (Kathy)

December 11, 1953 - January 15, 2015 Mary Kathryn (Kathy) Oliver passed away on January 15, 2015 after an extended illness, in Missoula, Mont. She was born December 11, 1953 in Lewisburg, Tenn. to Mary Lina and Charles Oliver, Sr. Kathy attended schools in Lewisburg, Tenn.; Huntsville, Ala.; and Silver Springs, Md. She graduated from Tahlequah High School and attended Northeastern State University, both in Tahlequah, Okla. Kathy moved to Tulsa and worked as a reservation representative for several car rental companies and the Double Tree Hotel where she was known as "The Voice of Double Tree". She also worked for Fluor Daniel (Williams Brothers). However, her most important job was being caregiver to her mother in her mother's later years. In 2007, for health reasons Kathy moved to Missoula, Mont. to be near her brother, Charlie. Kathy was known for her cheerful attitude, wicked sense of humor and sweet smile.She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by: her brother, Charlie Oliver (Charlotte); her niece, Christen Forster; and nephew, Chas Oliver; as well as great-nieces and nephew.Services will be held at Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Okla. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Because of Kathy's love for animals, especially her kitty, Adora, donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to Bitter Root Humane Assoc., P.O.
