Mary E. Oestreich

Mary E. Oestreich, 92, departed this world peacefully Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in Missoula.

She was born June 8, 1921, and grew up in Minneapolis. Mary was lovingly referred to as "The Lady" by her immediate family members.

She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking and skiing with the family. She continued to walk every day, and particularly enjoyed the Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge.

Her wry sense of humor lasted to the very end, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

"The Lady" is survived by her son, Richard and daughter-in-law Janet; grandsons, Cory and Taylor Oestreich; granddaughter, Cara Mokricky; and two great-grandsons, Kelsey and Alden Mokricky.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
