Mary Sue Lescantz

-Mary Sue Lescantz, 76, left this world on Jan. 6, 2016.
Mary was born June 22, 1939 in Anaconda MT, an only child to Ernestine (Sublette) Lescantz and Mike Lescantz. She was baptized at ST Paul's Catholic Church in Anaconda and attended ST Paul's elementary school in Anaconda.
Mary moved to Fresno CA to live with her Aunt Millie and Uncle Willard Garner during her freshman year. She graduated high school and began working as a checker at Giant Foods. Mary missed the Big Sky state of MT and returned in 1989. She attended the University Of MT College Of Technology and obtained a degree as a paralegal.
Mary was a devoted catholic and attended daily Mass when able. She was a member of a rosary prayer group for many years and was devoted to the Our Blessed Mother. She loved animals, especially cats. Mary attended Alcoholics Anonymous faithfully for 30 years. Several cousins survive her. Mary asked that donations go to the American Cancer Society.
Interment will take place at a later date at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Anaconda, MT
Garden City Funeral Home is assisting the family.
