Mary Finn

Mary Lou Finn, 93, passed away January 9, 2024 at the Village Health Center
Mom was born October 2,1930 in Tyler, Montana to Walter and Helen Moseman.
As a young girl she lived on various ranches in the Lewistown area. She received her
early education in the small country schools in the ranch areas. She left school to help
with the family finances after her father's death.

She married John W. Finn, the scoundrel her brothers hung out with, on November 10,
1951.

From this union three cherished children, John, William and Susan, were born.
Mom worked as a cook in Great Falls until her children graduated from high school. She
then joined her husband traveling around the country as he worked as an electrician in
the construction field.

In 1979 they chose Potomac, MT as their permanent home. Here she would enjoy
gardening, moving "miles" of snow with a walk behind snow blower and splitting wood.
She loved horses and enjoyed spotting an elk or a bear. Engaging with a small child
always put a smile on her face.

Mom was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her son William and six brothers.
She is survived by her son John (Sheila) and her daughter Susan, four granddaughters
and their spouses, four great grand children and their spouses and one great great
grandchild. Also surviving her is her brother Bill and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mary's wishes, no services will be held.
