Mary Margret Cramm, 79, of Missoula, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 12, 1934, in Kalispell to Joseph and Margret Bell Dzivi. Marge attended Flathead Valley grade schools and graduated from Flathead High School in 1952.
On March 6, 1954, she married David Cramm in Spokane. The couple moved to Missoula in 1958 after living in Idaho and Massachusetts. During the early years of their marriage, they enjoyed camping and fishing around Montana. In later years, she enjoyed her summers on Flathead Lake with her friends and family.
She was a member of Women of the Moose for many years and enjoyed bowling on the leagues of Women of the Moose, West Side Seniors and Five Valley Seniors. Marge served as secretary for the Five Valley Seniors for many years.
Scrabble and crossword puzzles were her daily passion. She was a supporter of the Montana Silent Witness Initiative and accompanied them on the cross-country road trip with the wood cutout figures on the national march at Washington, D.C.
Marge and David, her husband, were the owners/operators of the Dairy-Go-Round Drive In on Russell Street for many years. Upon the sale of the Dairy-Go-Round, "Mar" began a long career as a real estate salesperson.
Mar was preceded in death by husband David Cramm after 54 years of marriage; her brothers, Bill Nelson and Dick Dzivi; and sister, Jo Ann Kudlacek.
Survivors include her beloved sister, Delores "Punk" Dzivi Ellifritz of Ocean Park, Wash.; brother, Barney Davidson of Reno, Nev.; her three children, daughter Sylvia Cramm Wahoske of Zachary, La., and sons Dale Cramm of Missoula and Bret Cramm of Marysville, Wash.; five grandchildren, Dennis Cramm, Alex Wahoske, Max Wahoske, Brittney Cramm and Jonathan Keith Cramm; plus many loved nieces and nephews.
Her service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Garden City Funeral and Crematory, located at 1705 W. Broadway
