Obituary for Marsha Sepp

MISSOULA – Marsha Ann Sepp, 62, of Missoula, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24. She died peacefully of natural causes at her home.

She was born on February 14, 1950 in Greely, Colorado to Richard L. and Helen P. King. She graduated from Lakewood High School and attended the University of Colorado as a journalism major. Marsha worked as a police dispatcher until she married Paul E. Sepp on June 30, 1973. She and Paul lived in Lakewood, Colorado until 1978, when they made Missoula their home. She worked for several years as a teacher's aide at Valley Christian School and also taught classes in natural childbirth. She enjoyed crafts, Bible study, and time with family and friends, and was an advocate for the unborn.

Marsha loved to celebrate special occasions, and made a big deal of birthdays, graduations, and holidays. She lighted up the lives of family and friends with her smile and her nurturing care. A high point in Marsha's life was in 2000, when Paul surprised her with a trip to Ireland to meet her relatives and tour the country. She would tell you, though, that the highest point was when she came to faith in Jesus Christ.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Paul, six children: Emily Carlson, Ann Arbor, MI, Molly Reimer, Medford, OR, Dan Sepp, New York, NY, Erin Hanson, Missoula, Maureen Seel, Laurel, MD and Elizabeth Adams, Marina del Rey, CA. She also has five grandchildren: Casey, Riley and Keaton Riemer, and Olivia and Ben Carlson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 3rd at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Missoula Alliance Church, 100 Foss Court, Missoula, Montana, with a reception after the service. Pastor Jeff Valentine will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dan Sepp, Michael Reimer, Philip Hanson, Peter Wall, Fred Sayre, and Dave Traver.

The family suggests memorials to First Way Pregnancy Center, National Right to Life Association, or Missoula Alliance Church.
