Marjorie Jean "Peg" Goerz

Marjorie "Peg" Goerz died in the early morning of Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016. She was born June 16, 1922, in Centralia, Washington, to Lillie Gooler Broostrom and Gilbert Broostrom, the second of three girls.

She graduated from Olympia High School in 1939 and worked for the State License Department & Tax Commission. She moved to Seattle, where she met her husband Richard Goerz. They had one child, Karen. After her husband died, she moved back to Olympia, and just recently moved to Missoula to be near her daughter.

Peg is survived by her sister, Gilbertina (Punk) Dethlefs; daughter, Karen Fisher (Andy); three grandchildren, Steven (Kinsey), Theresa (Ingrid) and Scott; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services, at her request.
