Marie Trudeau Borsheim, 63, of Superior, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at home surrounded by her Family.
She was born Oct. 22, 1952, in Missoula to Edmond and Alice Trudeau. Marie graduated from Superior High School. She married Tim Bibler after graduation. They enjoyed many great memories and years together. They later divorced, but shared a fondness for each other through the years while enjoying their two wonderful children and grandchildren.
Marie had a zest for life and always liked spending time with her friends and family. Many of her nieces and nephews have many fond memories of spending time with "Aunt Marie" at Thompson Lakes and other occasions. She enjoyed water skiing, camping, attending meetings, working out at the gym, dining out, and she loved to dance. Marie worked for Castle IGA in Superior for many years. She married her second husband, Gordon Nelson, they later divorced, but they spent several happy years together. She loved Gordy's cooking!
Marie moved out to the Washington coast after her children graduated. She absolutely loved living in the Seattle area. That is where she was introduced to "espresso," which she rather enjoyed! She met her third husband, Richard Borsheim, while living on the coast. They enjoyed traveling, attending meetings and many more memories. They later divorced, but remained friends until Richard passed away.
Marie moved back to Montana to be closer to her family after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She kept a very positive attitude and enjoyed many more years with her friends and family than her doctors anticipated. She would say, "I'm not going to let cancer take me down without going out kicking and screaming." And she did just that! Her car was never parked long enough for the engine to cool off. She continued living and doing whatever she wanted until she didn't have the strength to fight any longer.
She was able to fulfill a lifelong dream to go to the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year. She loved being pampered at the spa. She treated herself to eyelash extensions only weeks before her passing. If you commented on her new lashes, she would bat those big beautiful blue eyes. They made her feel and look very pretty! Marie was a very social person. She made a lot of treasured friends that she held close to her heart.
Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her son, Tim (Linda) Bibler and their children Jake and Brooke, Stephanie (Jesse) and Nicole (from Tim's first marriage), Natalie (from Linda's first marriage) of Frenchtown; daughter, Shannon Bibler (Jeremy Baxter) and their son Maxwell, Daizey and Hunter (from Shannon's first marriage) of Plains; four great-grandchildren, Casey, Emerson, Roxanne and Chloe; brother, Gerald (Vanessa) Trudeau of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; sister Janet Neville of Superior; brother Raymond Trudeau of Silverton, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will all miss her deeply.
There will be a celebration of Marie's amazing life at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, in the multi-purpose room at Superior High School. Please bring a dish for a potluck reception following the service and a memory of Marie to share.
