Marguerite Ann Lehman, 84, passed away at her home Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Marguerite was born April 16, 1929, in Hamilton to Elery and Cara Masterson. Marguerite spent most of her lifetime in the Bitterroot and Missoula valleys, enjoying all Montana has to offer.
She married Robert "Bob" Lehman on Sept. 11, 1948. Together with their family they enjoyed the outdoors: camping, fishing, boating and snowmobiling. They enjoyed riding in the mountains and looking for old mines, antique bottles and the elusive elk. They also raised four daughters.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert "Bob" Lehman; parents, Elery and Cara Masterson; and three brothers, Leland, Raymond and Norman.
Surviving Marguerite are her four daughters, Janet (Gil) Rice, Jeanette Ailport, Cheryl Lehman and Debra (Mike) Garrick; grandchildren, Glenn Ailport, Marcia Erickson, Jason (Amy) Rice, Travis (Robin) Rice, Shane Garrick, Kristel Garrick, Cody Garrick and Cara Garrick; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers and hospice workers who have given such great care to Marguerite.
A graveside service will be held at Missoula City Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday, April 4.
