Obituary for Mardelle A. Lambert

- Mardelle A. Lambert (Mitzi) passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015, in
Missoula, MT.
She was born in Ortonville, MN, on October 26, 1927 to Joseph and Mazel Petrick.As the daughter of a military man, her early education was in Georgia and California.She was Valdictorian of her graduating class in Pacific Grove, CA. Her education continued at HamlinUniversity in St. Paul, MN. where she received a degree in nursing.
In April of 1957, she married Jack Lambert in Mason City, Iowa. They moved to Montana, living
in Townsend, then settling in Wolf Point to raise their family. Her professional career started
as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Trinity as both a private nurse and regular staff member.
Later working for Indian Health Services, she dedicated her time for twenty four years. While working andraising a family, she obtained her Nurse Practioner license. Her compassion and care is still rememberedby those she served. In retirement, she enjoyed splitting time between Wolf Point and her second home in Yuma, AR.
Her passing was proceeded by her parents, brother in-law Alan Lambert, her father and mother in-law, Leo and Kathleen Lambert, daughter in-law Lori Lambert, grandaughter Reanna Lambert and her two children, Kevin and Amanda.
Survivors include her husband, Jack, children Barbara (Nick) Beery, Stephen (Cecelia) Lambert, David (Maureen) Piersak, Jay Lambert, and Kathy (Dennis) Buckles.She is also survived by a sister, Gail Simonitch, grand children and great grand children.
At her request there will be no funeral. A private gathering of family will be held in Missoula,
