Marcia L. Anderson

Marcia Lynne Anderson, 73, was welcomed into her heavenly home Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. Marcia was born in Colfax, Washington, on Jan. 12, 1942, to Oren and Flora Martin. Marcia grew up in Lewiston, Idaho, and later moved to Missoula as a young bride.

Marcia's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Time with friends and family was always held dear. In addition, she enjoyed playing pinochle with her longtime friend Pat and serving in various ministries at Bethel Baptist Church. Marcia was very creative, talented at cake decorating, sewing and cooking, and enjoyed using these talents to bless those around her. She was gifted in hospitality and was always ready to host friends and family at the spur of the moment. She had a passion for travel and loved to plan and chronicle her trips and family vacations. Marcia was a sports fan who loved to cheer on her Grizzlies and Yankees.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Easton and Faith Barton; and brothers, Harold Martin and Allan Martin. Marcia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Anderson; three children, Lisa (Steve) Wollin, Lori (Bob) Beaudette and Steven (Heather) Anderson; and nine beloved grandchildren, Laura, Bailey, Kaelyn, Michael, Garret, Martin, Claire, Maya and Lindsay. Numerous nieces and nephews will also miss their cherished Aunt Lynne.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration service of Marcia's life will be held in the summer of 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Bethel Baptist Church Benevolent Fund.
