Mabel Lou Anno

Mabel Lou Anno, 68, of Missoula, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013. She was born March 10, 1945, to Orphie and Iva Halverson.

Mabel Lou was raised in New Town, N.D., where she graduated from New Town High School in 1963.

Mabel Lou married Ted Anno in 1963 and moved to Missoula in 1974, where they remained until Ted's death in 2005. Mabel Lou stayed in Missoula until December of 2012 when she moved to the Deer Lodge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Deer Lodge.

Mabel Lou enjoyed being a full-time homemaker. She also enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, arranging flowers and spending time with her family.

Mabel Lou is survived by her children, Teresa Ricci of Bozeman, Walter of Portland, Ore., Ted Jr. of Missoula and Casey of Havre de Grace, Md.; and her brothers, Roger Halverson of Washington state and Galen Halverson of North Dakota.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at Garden City Funeral Home, 1705 W. Broadway.
