Louise M. LeRoy

April 4, 1924 — Aug. 10, 2013: MISSOULA — Our mom has gone home to be at peace with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She will remain here in our hearts forever.

She has touched so many in her journey through life, from being known as the cookie lady at the vet center to the thousands of veterans she has written letters to when they were in a war miles away.

She gave her hope and her love to everyone and anyone in need of a smile.

From surfing the beaches in California to climbing the mountains in Montana, she lived and enjoyed it all with the family she loved. We will miss you, Mom, and will keep forever the life you shared with us. We will not say goodbye, for one day we will all meet again.

We would like to thank the entire staff at Village Health Care for the comfort and compassion you provided for our mom. You will all remain close to our hearts.

She is survived by her brother, Fred in Texas; sister, Betty in California; daughter, Sue in Montana; son, Tom in Montana; son, Mike in California; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
