Louis Alan Tecca passed away October 19th at the St. Patrick hospital in Missoula, MT of natural causes. Born October 22, 1928 in Livingston, MT to Angelo and Lula (Bouche) Tecca, Louis was the youngest son of 14 children. He and his family remained in Livingston where he later graduated from Park County High School in 1947.
After graduation, Louis worked for the Railroad as well as served in the United States Armed Forces. During his time in the military he was drafted overseas to serve in the Korean War. He was later honorably discharged.
Louis married Patricia (Patty) Ann (Hudson) Tecca and together they had two children, Kenneth Alan Tecca and Daniel Louis Tecca. Louis and Patty ran The Economy Store in Big Timber, MT until retiring in 1982. Patty passed away on April 11, 1983. Louis was later re-married to Delsey Ruth (Callais) Tecca.
Louis is survived by his four grandchildren, Tandra (Warren) Tecca Plympton of Kalispell MT, Marcus (Lauren) Tecca of Kalispell MT, Brandon (Kristina) Tecca of Missoula MT, and Daniella Tecca of Carson City NV. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Joan (Angelo) Tecca Fotopoulos as well as six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, and both wives. Louis was also preceded in death by twelve of his siblings, Pasqua (Pat), Joseph, Francis, George, Mary, Charles, Jennie, Madeline (Mal), Edward (Bus), Donald, Frank (Jr. ), and James.
Graveside services will be held at the Livingston Cemetery on Saturday, October 25th at 10:00 a.m. A reception to honor his life will follow at the Yellowstone Pioneer in Livingston.
