Loretta Emma Bezdicek, 76, of Missoula, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Riverside Health Care. She was born on May 23, 1939, to Leo and Isabella Fitterer in Dickinson, North Dakota.
On June 21, 1956, she married her love, Leonard A. Bezdicek in Shefield, North Dakota. The couple lived their lives together for 59 years in Dickinson and Missoula.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Loretta enjoyed embroidery, cooking, baking, gardening, playing pinochle, games and music, especially old time polkas and waltzes. She taught herself how to play the piano by ear. She loved being a homemaker, and spent many years babysitting and farming too. She was the best caramel roll maker!!
Survivors include her husband, Leonard or Missoula; three sons and one daughter and their families, Duane (Charlene) Bezdicek of Missoula, Dennis (Debra) Bezdicek of Missoula, Don (Nancy) Bezdicek of Auburn, Washington, and Sandra (Peter) Caye of Lolo; her siblings, Ronald (Patti) Fitterer, Richard Fitterer, LaVerne (Gordon) Binstock, Luella (Eddie) Weber, Leona (Harry) Kanski and Linda (Roger) Portcheller and a sister-in-law Jane Fitterer; her grandchildren, Bryan (Jami), Amy (Casey), Brady, Jeremy, Alexis, Taylor, Bryce and Shane; great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Garrett, Carter and Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Isabella and her brother Robert Fitterer.
Please join us at Sunset Memorial Garden for services and burial starting at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 officiated by St Francis Xavier Church, Missoula.
