Our loving wife and mother, Linda L. Forwood, passed away on March 20th, 2025 in Missoula. She was born and raised April 10th, 1945, in Anaconda, Mt, a daughter of Frank and Dorthy Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Forwood, son Mark (Cindy), daughter Stacy (Tom), son Matt (CeCe), seven grandkids (Alisha, Karissa, Jason, Franki, Billy, Mason, Rylee), and five great grandchildren (Paige, Kadence, Corbin, Kiara (KiKi), Callan). She is also survived by her brother Larry Johnson (Sue).
She loved sports and her Montana Grizzles as well as the Golden State Warriors and the Kanas City Chiefs. Linda was a lover and follower of our Lord and Savior and active at Bethel Community Church, where she was active for years in the children's ministry. She also impacted the lives of many kids for decades through her time as the co-owner of Holly Hobby Daycare Center. Later in life she had that same positive impact on the residents of Evergreen Assisted Living Home, where she worked as a CNA. In everything she did, she selflessly served God, family, friends and others.
We are heartbroken but take comfort in knowing she has been called home to be with the Lord and we will see her again.
The family will be having a small celebration of life sometime this summer.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, no sorrow, no crying, there shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away."
