Bud, 89, passed away at the home he helped to build in Missoula of natural causes surrounded by family on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
He was born July 18, 1926, to Lewis Eli and Hannah Ethelyn Andersen in Bothwell, Utah. Together, he and Donna owned and managed the Lee Rae Resthome from 1971 until selling in 1980. He then was an engineer and custodian for the local high schools until retirement. Donna passed in 1989. In 2001 he married Ada Knocke, they divorced in 2005 but remained close. He was a fixture at his daughters' horse shows and adventures, teaching them to fish and hunt and camping every chance he got.
