Leonard E "Lenn" Brist

Leonard Edward (Lenn) Brist, 74, of Missoula, passed away Monday morning, November 6, 2017 at the Village Health Care Center. He was born March 19, 1943 in Watertown, SD, the son of Mandley and Selena (Wattier) Brist.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter HeidiJo, son Kevin and two sisters, Donna and Cynthia. Survivors include 5 children, Lisa Lenn (Bob) Brist-Hadac, Brett Edward Brist, Troy Leonard Brist, Lenna Michele (Myron) Brist-Stewart and Katelenn Jane Brist-Rohrbacher; 5 Brothers, William, Fay, Tim, Phillip and Steve; 3 Sisters, Virginia, Martha and Carolyn; 10 grandchildren: Doug, Chad, Bob, Scott, Brittany, Mike, Brandon, Dylenn, LaKotaJo and Leo; and 4 great grandchildren: Miranda, Devin, Micah and Mckenna; also many nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces.

Leonard had many accomplishments, interests and hobbies during his lifetime, too many to list; therefore, the children will have a special remembrance card made at a later date and given to his family and friends that documents and honors his life.

Leonard’s family would like to extend our heartfelt and sincere appreciation to everyone at the Village Health Care Center, Leonard’s home for 22 years. Thank you to the many CNA’s, caregivers, nurses and staff for their LOVING friendships and care of our beloved father, Lenny Brist. And a very special thank you from his daughter and guardian, Lisa Brist-Hadac for supporting her with the years of love and help in caring for her father.
