Larry was preceded in death by his father, Walter Rutz sr, his Mother Cherry Terrell (Frye) and an infant sibling, Darla Rutz.

He also leaves behind two grandsons, Kyler Rutz and Joshua Blevins as well as two great grandchildren, Kamden Rutz and Tayden Rutz. There were also many beloved nephews, nieces and extended family members, in addition to friends that will miss his happy smile.

Larry was in the Army National Guard before serving in the United States Air Force. He worked at Boeing before working the majority of his career doing construction as a Laborer's Union member. He helped build multiple schools in WA state and resided there until moving to Montana in approximately 2004.

He fell in love with Montana, the peaceful beauty of it and was so happy to live out his retirement years there. His daily routine was to hit the local casino and hopefully win big! Larry loved reading and watching Fox news. He was a true Patriot that loved America!

Larry will be remembered by his love for his family, his warm heart and his smile. He was the king of cliches and had an amazing wit about him. He appreciated a competitive game of cribbage or even playing chess. He loved loud music and was known to drive faster & faster, as the volume increased. He may have been the Seattle Seahawks biggest fan...12th Man.

We will all will miss his phone calls, his stories and his big hearted hugs!
