Missoula-Lawerence P. Daigle, 79, passed away of natural causes on March 23, 2014. Lawerence was born in Missoula on Nov. 14, 1934 to William and Isabell Daigle. He served in the US Navy for several years and was honorably discharged. In 1961, he married Grace Amon and they had three children. They were married for 32 years and remained great friends. Lawerence was an avid hunter and fisherman and also loved to square dance. He volunteered at Missoula 3:16 for a few years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Tommy Daigle. Lawerence is survived by his son, Mike Daigle; daughters, Cheryl Daigle and Sandra Duque; granddaughters, Michaella Daigle and Andrea Duque; brothers Fred and Armand Daigle; sisters, Nina Teague, Willadene Donaldson, Patsy Gray, Laura Dougherty and Donna Marie.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Garden City Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Overbaugh officiating, burial with full military honors will follow the funeral at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery. A reception will be held following the graveside in Garden City Funeral Home's community room.
