Laurise Lockwood, 84, of Missoula, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Patrick Hospital.
She was born March 29, 1929, in Missoula to Harry and Leoda Johnson. As a young girl, she lived in Darby, Stevensville and Missoula. She graduated from Missoula County High School in 1947 as valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Christian Assembly Foursquare Church for many years.
Laurise was preceded in death by her son, Jim Lockwood.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bill Lockwood; son, Larry (Jaimie) of Corvallis and grandsons Kai and Robyn; daughter, Denny (Don) Potter of Bonner and grandchildren Tyler, Gabe and Rhiannon; son, Brian (Jolene) of Lolo and grandchildren Alyssa, Courtney, Chance and Torie; sister, Phyllis Gribnau; nieces, Lonnie Gribnau and Jamie Gribnau; nephew, Joe (Mell) Gribnau; as well as four great-grandchildren, Emmett, Corbin, Aiden and Vance.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Christian Assembly Foursquare Church, 1001 Cleveland St. A reception will follow.
