Missoula

C. Larry Westover, 75, of Missoula passed away on February 9th, 2025 at home surrounded by family members.

He was born on October 6th, 1949, in Rexburg Idaho, to Claude and Elizabeth Westover. He grew up in Downey, CA and attended a local Junior College. He enjoyed hiking in the Sierra Madre mountains searching for unusual pieces to incorporate into his artwork, and spending time at the family cabin in Lake Isabella, CA. Larry moved to Whitehall, MT and later had his daughter Megan Westover. He went on to establish himself as a successful realtor at Missoula Realty for 30 years. His many clients included the Missoulian Building and the Morgenroth Music stores.

He married Barbara Lindquist of Missoula in 1987. Together they established a beautiful home in Pattee Canyon, that inspired many family memories over the years.

Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, and watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He was a long-standing season passholder at Larchmont Golf Course for many years and had many friends that he played with frequently. His passion for golf brought him to courses all over Montana and Spokane, WA.

Larry and Barbara enjoyed to travel locally, and especially enjoyed Quinn’s Hot Springs, Rock Creek, The Blackfoot River, and Flathead Lake. They took a memorable trip that included the Oregon coast, California Redwoods, Napa Valley, The Monterey Peninsula, and his beloved Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Larry’s survivors include his wife Barbara, daughter Megan (Michael) Westover, Roxanne (JulieAnn Ferris) Lindquist, Paul and Renee Lindquist, grandchildren Rashelle, Austin (Chas Eklund), Marcus (Rylee), Sydnee, and Hallie Lindquist, as well as five great grandchildren.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
