Larry K. Duncan

On July 9, 2015, Larry K. Duncan, our much loved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Husband passed at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. Larry was born on December 5, 1928 in Missoula to Marion and Beulah Duncan, the youngest and only boy of three children. He graduated from Alberton High School, joined the Navy and on August 23, 1950 he married EvaBelle Curtiss. They were married for 56 years before Eva's death in 2006. Larry then married Raynita Meier in 2009, who kept him on his toes until his death.
Larry was a member of the Bagdad Shriners Temple of Missoula and the Montana Masonic Lodge #2 in Ennis. He was a Ham Radio Operator and on the Board of Directors of several non-profit agencies throughout his grocery business years. He was an avid bowler and golfer, and a long member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Larry is survived by his current wife, Raynita Duncan, his Daughter, Kathy Buckley (Mike), Granddaughter, Jennifer Christensen (Shawn), and Grandson, Mike Cumley. Great Grandchildren, Tye Lucas Cumley, Katelyn Christensen and Kara Christensen. His sister, Lois Wikoff (Chuck), many close nieces and nephews, Raynita's children, step grandchildren and many dear friends.
Dad was such a kind and genuine man who led his family with true unconditional love. He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7405 Mullan Road. Visitation and viewing will be from 10:00 until 12:30 with a private family time from 12:30 until 1:00. Memorials in Larry's name can be made to Algeria Shrine Temple 15 N.
