MISSOULA - Kimberly Renee High died unexpectedly Friday, January. 9, 2009. Taken from us long before her time.
Kim was born in Hanford, Calif., on October. 27, 1965.
After high school, she met Kurt Thomas High. From there, they went on a trip to Montana, where they fell in love with the state.
Soon after they married, out of this union came a beautiful baby girl named Chellsee. She was the pride and joy of all.
After 13 years of marriage, Kim and Kurt decided to go their separate ways.
After this, she went back to school and became a cosmetologist, where she worked at several places around Missoula.
In her later years, she met a wonderful man named Sean Patrick O’Rourke.
One main passion Kim had was her love of animals in need, which she took in.
The one place she loved her entire life is Pismo Beach, Calif., where she loved to swim the waves and four-wheel on the sand dunes. She always wanted to go back someday and now her wish will come true. We will make a trip and spread her ashes along the beach.
Kim, have a great journey to your new home. You will always be loved. My daughter, my mother.
Preceding her in death were her father, Danny Barba, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her daughter, Chellsee High; her mother, January Ross Klemenhagen (Bud); her brother, Rusty Barba; her partner of 10 years, Sean O’Rourke; and many aunts, uncles, neices and nephews.
Those who wish to make a donation in her memory, please send to the Missoula County Animal Control.
There will be a short memorial service to be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January. 26, at Orchard Homes Country Life Club.
