Kelly Oliver, 49, of Bronson, Michigan passed away peacefully Monday, July 15, 2024 on her way back home after checking off a bucket list item, a 7-day Alaska Cruise with 12 members of her family and friends. She suffered a heart issue, and a stroke in Missoula, MT and passed a few days later surrounded by her husband, two sisters, their husbands and two nieces.

Kelly Oliver, daughter of Michael and Delores (Dee) (Haynes) Fryke, was born October 30, 1974 in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from Cloquet High School and continued her education at the Duluth Business School obtaining a degree in accounting. Kelly met the love of her life Bennie Oliver, and the couple were married August 20, 1993 and two sons were born to this union. 

Kelly worked in accounting for banks through out her working career. She was an avid reader in her free time. She enjoyed yoga, quilting, beading and visiting a new brewery and distillery every chance she had. Kelly was adventurous and loved to travel, take cruises, parasail, zip line and get tattoos. She conquered pancreatic cancer. Kelly was very proud of her family and visited them as often as she could. Above all else, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bennie Oliver; son, Jacob Oliver; sisters, Kim, Kelly’s cancer buddy (Bob) Lenihan; Kerry (Tim) Dahl; Marla (Mark) Ewing; nieces, nephews and friends.

Kelly is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Delores Fryke; son, Michael Oliver; sister, Kay Stadin; and brother, Kevin Fryke.
