Keith Wayne McClements, 67, of Missoula Montana passed away on September 3, 2024 at St. Patrick's hospital after a brief battle with MDS blood cancer.
He was born on May 31, 1957 in Tacoma, Washington to Robert and Dorothea McClements. He graduated from Wilson High School in Tacoma in 1975.
Keith married Patricia Drost (Patti) on August 16, 1980 and had just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. Keith started a tradition on their first anniversary of a rose for every year, this year there were 44 beautiful roses.
Keith and Patti have one son, Mark McClements of Missoula. Keith was very proud of Mark and loved the time they spent on the water fishing or in the woods hunting and camping. Mark recently married Meghan Garner and gave Keith a daughter in law he loved dearly.
Keith was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He also lived for live music and liked to travel to various locations from Wise River to Tampa Florida just to listen to music and be amongst his parrothead friends.
Keith is survived by his mother Dottie, wife Patti, son Mark, daughter in law Meghan, and his two obnoxious cats. In addition, he is survived by his loving and wonderful family including in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is also survived by the best group of friends anyone could ever ask for.
At Keith's request there will be no funeral services. He will be cremated, and his ashes scattered in favorite hunting and fishing spots. We will celebrate his life at the Cloverleaf Tavern in Tacoma, date and time TBD.
Our thanks to the staff at St. Patrick's hospital & Cancer Care Center for their kindness and care through this incredibly difficult time.
