The most important things for Kathy were her children and grandchildren. She loved them so much and always wanted the best for them. She worked very hard her whole life gardening, sewing, home projects, running a business, and raising her children.
If Kathy was making a meal, everyone hoped they were invited. Cooking was Kathy’s love language. The meals she prepared were well thought out and always delicious. If you were a guest at her house, you always left with a full plate to go home with. Spoiling and loving her grandchildren gave her immense joy. They kept her life filled with love, laughter, and window smudges that she would clean around.
Kathy will be remembered for her loving heart and compassion to others. In the last years of her life, she found comfort and peace in her Heavenly Father. One of Kathy’s favorite verses was Hebrew 6:19. “We have this HOPE as an anchor for the soul, firm and steadfast.” In the last days, God was her anchor who carried her through.
She was survived by her husband Ernie, Frenchtown, four children and their families, Aimee (Kevin) Jackson, Billings, Amanda (Brent) Burton, Colstrip, Justin (Christine) Johnson, Huson, Josh (Sky) Johnson, Frenchtown, and grandchildren Connor, (24), Cormac (17), Kyler (16), Sierra (12), Payten (8), Eamonn (7), Addasyn (7), Ollie (3), Anni Kay (2), Isabelle (2 weeks), and one on the way.
