Justin Isaiah Kesterson, 31, of Missoula, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
He was born on June 27, 1986, in Missoula, to Manuel and Robin Kesterson. He grew up in the Swan Valley with his parents and two brothers, Joshua and Jared. He attended Salmon Prairie School, was home-schooled some of his grade school years, and attended Seeley-Swan High School. He worked at Pyramid Mountain Lumber Company. He went on to earn an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Electonics Technology/Computer Systems from U of M-Helena College of Technology. He then worked at Semitool as a mechanical assembler. He went on to attend and graduate from Universal Technical Institute in Arizona with an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology, having been on the dean's list with a 3.8 GPA. He returned to Montana, working first at Helena Motors and then most recently at Lithia Ford in Missoula.
His relationship with the Lord began at a young age. He was a member of Swan Chapel where he was baptized. He participated in Youth for Christ activites throughout his high school years.
He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and liked hiking, fishing, camping, motorbiking, and backpacking. A couple trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness with his family were highlights for him.
Survivors include his parents Manuel and Robin Kesterson; brothers Joshua Kesterson and Jared Kesterson and Jared's wife Madison; grandparents John and Linda Pilsworth; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins he enjoyed spending time with.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Swan Chapel in Swan Lake, Montana, with Pastor Chuck Cushman officiating.
