— June Edna Fisher, 90, of Missoula, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes.
She was born on June 12, 1927, in Polson to Norman and Edna (Jackson) Stinger. She and her siblings were mainly raised in Ronan and Drummond.
On Dec 17, 1944, she married her best friend, Edward Fisher. In the early years, they traveled throughout Montana and Idaho for Eddie’s job as a highway-engineer. June was a homemaker and they settled in Missoula to raise their two boys, Bill and Tom. Eddie and June loved to hunt, fish and spend time on Flathead Lake with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; parents; brother, Vern; sisters, Essie and Ruby.
She is survived by her sons, Bill (Karen), Turah; Tom (Kelly), Valleyford, Washington; granddaughter, Jessica (Zach) Fanelli, Ennis and great-grandchildren, Salvatori and Giavanna Fanelli, Ennis.
A gathering of remembrance and a graveside service will be held in the spring in Ronan.
