Julie Springer, 33, of Missoula, Montana, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Julie was born February 1, 1989 in Binghamton, New York, one of six children to James and Deborah Springer. At a young age her family moved to Arizona where she completed high school. Julie became a mother in 2010 to her beautiful baby boy, Zachary. After his untimely death in 2012 Julie began to truly embrace all that Montana has to offer. She began going on backpacking trips and enjoyed anytime she could be at water, weather it was a river or a lake. She was always eager to learn something new and was up for any adventure. It was in Montana that she met her spouse Alex and they enjoyed nine wonderful years together.
Many will remember Julie for her fiery red hair that matched her personality. She was a bright and positive person who would help you find the best in any situation. She was the life of the party and her smile lit up the room. If she loved you, she made sure you knew it, usually through forced hugs and whispered sentiments but her loved ones wouldn’t have had it any other way. She will be so incredibly missed by all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her spouse Alex Szuba; her parents James and Deborah Springer; her siblings and their families: David, Jimmy, Diana, Sarah and Patricia; as well as many extended family and friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her son Zachary.
A memorial gathering with a time for sharing will be held on Saturday, July 30th from 12-2pm at Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory, Missoula.
