Judy Pellkofer

– Judy Ruth Pellkofer, 81, of Missoula, died of natural causes on a cold wintry evening on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.

She was born in Pampa, Texas, on July 22, 1935. As a young girl she moved to Weaverville, California, and graduated from Trinity High School. She married George J. Weldon and raised two children, George and Lequita. They spent many years hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and exploring in the back country of Northern California.


Later in life she moved to Missoula to be closer to family. She is survived by her son George A. Weldon and spouse Lee of Townsend; daughter Lequita Cavill and spouse Rick of Thompson Falls; grandchildren Ryan Weldon and spouse Heather of Great Falls, Bekki McLean and spouse Seth of Bozeman, Tate Cavill of Fort Howes, Karli Cavill of Thompson Falls and great-grandchildren Caleb and Addison Weldon of Great Falls.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
