Obituary for Joyce Lucille Moe

Joyce Lucille Moe, 87, passed away of natural causes at her home on Wed. Dec. 2, 2015.
Joyce was born on June 9, 1928 in Kenosha, WI to George and Lucille Rohnow. As a young girl she drove her family from Kenosha, WI to El Segundo, CA; where her father was already working. While in High School and Compton Junior College, Joyce was a Majorette and was in the Rose Bowl Parade.
She married Kenneth Clayton Moe on March 7, 1953 and moved to Great Falls, MT where their daughter Marilou was born. In 1955 the family moved to Billings where both Ken and Carol were born. After her husband passed away in 1974, Joyce raised her children as a single mother. Family was always very important to her, moving back to California to care for her parents until their death.
Joyce was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizen Center, she enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.
Her greatest accomplishment was her children; Marilou for her family values, Ken for his integrity and support of his family and Carol for her caring life, never turning her back on family. Joyce's extended family was very important to her, Cory Chattfied was especially important.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Alan Rohnow.
She is survived by her brother, Rollie (Donna) Rohnow; Sisters, Beverly (Clayton) Lilly, Carolyn (Charles Chatfield; children Marilou (Steve) Mueller, Kenneth (Janet) Moe, Carol Moe; Grandchildren, Lynda Mueller, Rebecca Mueller, Monica (Matt) Sharbono, Kenneth (Jennifer) Bumke, Zachary Bumke, Erica Bumke, Jessica Moe, Kaitlin Moe, Megan Moe, and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Kenadie Taylor and many loving nieces and nephews.
